Our Pastor

Rev. Dr. Matthew W. Connally

Pastor Matthew "Bubba" Connally is a down to earth, fun loving guy. He graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2006 with a B.A. in Bible and Christian Ministry. After that he married the love of his life, Jamie. They moved 1 month later to Kansas City, MO where Matthew studied and earned his M. Div. from Nazarene Theological Seminary.

The call of God took them back to their hometown in November, 2010, where Matthew was the Associate Pastor of Youth and Their Families at the Ridgecrest Church of the Nazarene in Ridgecrest, CA. They continued to listen to God's call and God led them to Pablo, MT in January, 2015.  In 2021 Pastor Matthew earned a Doctor of Ministry in Innovative Leadership in Changing Cultures as he emphasized planting missional, faith-based communities.

Jamie is a para-educator at the Pablo Elementary School, a horse trainer and an equine sports massage therapist.  Pastor Matthew and Jamie have two children.

Pastor Matthew loves to hike, fish, view wildlife, and ride his Harley Davidson. He also loves to bring the Word of God into the lives of God's people in thought provoking ways.

Beliefs

We believe...

in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe...

that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.

We believe...

that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.

We believe...

that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.

We believe...

that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.

We believe...

that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe...

that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.

We believe...

that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
